Whelan has shown that he is fully behind the potential move, as he said: “Well, it all comes down to numbers. I’m sure he’s enjoying football, he stands out.
“How big Leeds United is, how Leeds have grown and how the force is getting even better, it’s certainly a club he’ll want to go and play in the Premier League for.
“He’ll be excited to try and get promotion, try and get to the Premier League and I’m sure Leeds United will be looking to get that type of player, when someone’s played week in, week out for you and played well.
“These are really great problems for Leeds United, who signs, who what, who’s the next target, but only if we get to the Premier League.”

Harrison has shown that he can be a very important player for Bielsa’s side through his performances this term, as well as his consistency.
The 23-year-old has started 37 Championship games this season, scoring a respectable five goals and adding a further seven assists.
He also carries a threat in his general play outside of his goal contributions, averaging 2.1 key passes, 1.9 dribbles and 1 cross per game.
