da bet7k: As the 2019 summer transfer window draws to a close, clubs across the world start to panic and the inevitable deadline day deals loom.
da aposte e ganhe: Over the years we have witnessed the bizarre, the stupendous and the shocking. Deadline day is always full of surprises and expect this one to be no different.
The clock ticks and teams begin to scramble together any signing they can make to appease the fans; sometimes it works a treat while others are greeted with outrage and disappointment.
With several big-name players seeking a transfer away from their respective clubs, it could go down to the final day before they get their move.
Here are the transfer deals that we believe could still go ahead before the deadline…
Emmanuel Adebayor – Crystal Palace
The Eagles have already seen right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka depart for Manchester United and they could be set to lose another star – Wilfried Zaha. If the Ivory Coast forward was to move, it would leave Palace short of attacking talent; a move for Adebayor could suffice.
The 35-year-old spent a brief spell in south London previously but failed to impress – netting just once in 12 Premier League appearances for Palace. However, there is not much time to scout other strikers and Roy Hodgson could turn towards this Premier League proven goalscorer, despite his age.
David Luiz – Arsenal
This could be one of the shock signings of the summer. Arsenal have reportedly agreed an £8m fee with Chelsea to bring Luiz to north London and the deal is expected to be concluded today.
The Brazil defender revealed he wanted to switch to the Gunners and the 32-year-old would be a welcome addition to Unai Emery’s defensive options.
Bruno Fernandes – Manchester United
The 24-year-old midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer and he could force through the move at the very end of the transfer window. The Portugal international produced excellent statistics last season for Sporting CP – scoring 20 goals and chipping in with 13 assists in Liga NOS.
Fernandes is a versatile midfielder who can operate as an attacking option or contribute from a natural, central-midfield position. Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has expressed his desire to improve his squad further before the end of the transfer window and this is certianly a deal to keep an eye on.
Tiemoue Bakayoko – West Ham United
Chelsea have been restricted this summer after they received a transfer ban stopping them from signing players – but they can still sell. Bakayoko has failed to impress in west London since his switch from Monaco in 2017 and manager Frank Lampard could let him go, whether that be a loan or permanent deal.
West Ham are short of defensive midfield options following the departure of Pedro Obiang and this could be a good move for both parties. The 24-year-old demonstrated his ability in France and a switch to east London could revive his career while bolstering the Hammers’ midfield options.
Leroy Sane – Bayern Munich
The Bundesliga giants are reportedly interested in bringing Sane to Germany and they may have to wait until deadline day to see this come to fruition. City have an abundance of attacking talent and the 23-year-old has not been a regular starter under Pep Guardiola, which could prompt a move away.
Bayern Munich have stated they are ‘confident’ of signing the Germany international but the Manchester club are not looking to sell. However, Sane could take matters into his own hands and spark a late transfer, possibly on deadline day.
Wilfried Zaha – Manchester City
Zaha has openly expressed his desire to leave Crystal Palace this summer and looked set to join Arsenal. That move never developed, however, and Everton tried to sign the Ivory Coast international, also failing as both clubs came short of his valuation.
If Sane was to depart from the Etihad Stadium, Guardiola could attempt to lure the 26-year-old to City and the club certianly have the financial resources to do so. If Bayern Munich come in late for Sane, it is worth keeping an eye on this potential deadline day scorcher.
Kieran Tierney – Arsenal
Arsenal have been a surprise package in the 2019 summer transfer window and this could be a late deal to strike. The Gunners were rumoured to only have £45million to spend in total but the recent signing of Nicolas Pepe for £72m certianly shut down those murmurs.
However, they do not look to be stopping yet. Tierney has been linked with a move to north London for over a month and Celtic have rejected two bids for the 22-year-old from Arsenal already. Unai Emery looks persistent on making this transfer happen and it could be a deadline day special.
Philippe Coutinho – Liverpool
The Brazil international was gifted his dream move from Liverpool to Barcelona in January last year but has failed to make a meaningful impression in Spain. Barca are reportedly willing to let the 27-year-old leave the club and, given Liverpool’s lack of transfer activity so far, they could be waiting for something huge to happen.
Coutinho was a magician on Merseyside and his return would bolster Jurgen Klopp’s attacking options, for sure. Manchester United were interested in signing the Brazilian but he stated he could not move there due to his affiliation with Liverpool – a return to Anfield could happen and what a transfer it would be.
Alfredo Morelos – Crystal Palace
The Eagles will be desparate to add some firepower to their ranks before 5pm and with Zaha’s eyes set on a move away, they could make a late swoop for Morelos.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has stated he wants the 23-year-old to remain in Scotland but a move to the Premier League could be the step up he needs to make a name for himself – south London could be that place.
Inaki Williams – Manchester United
United have already spent big this summer and they could be set to do so again. Williams has an £80m release clause and the Red Devils are contemplating making a late move to bring him to Old Trafford.
The 25-year-old has been a bright spark in the Athletic Bilbao outfit and a switch overseas to Manchester would bolster United’s attacking options, for sure.
Gareth Bale – Tottenham Hotspur
Bale is another who could return to his former club. The Wales midfielder signed for Real Madrid back in 2013 for £85m – a world-record transfer at the time. Despite his valuable contribution so far in Spain, manager Zinedine Zidane has fallen out with the 30-year-old and he looks certain to depart this summer.
Spurs have gone quiet in recent weeks following their excellent signing of Tanguy Ndombele and something huge could be brewing in the background. The Lilywhites have ambitions of competing at the highest level and the return of Bale could be the missing piece required for Mauricio Pochettino.
