da bet vitoria: West Ham United have looked far better composed in their previous two matches than what they have done at any point this season and the return of Ryan Fredericks to the first-team has certainly helped the club’s cause of making a strong finish to the season.
da jogodeouro: The 26-year-old made his first appearance for the Hammers since November last year when they hosted Liverpool at the London Stadium last week Monday.
In what many believed was going to be a very straight forward result for the Reds ended in a surprising draw, which certainly thrilled West Ham supporters, especially after their team was torn apart at Wolverhampton Wanderers the week before.
West Ham looked threatening from the very first minute against Liverpool and played with a great deal of freedom and fluidity.
And, Fredericks played a massive part in the team going forward as well as tracking back and doing his job in defence as a right-back.
He looked fit and determined to make his mark on the match. He never gave up and helped the team fight for their valuable point the whole 90 minutes.
The past weekend he delivered a similar performance at Selhurst Park where West Ham played out to another 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.
Fredericks again looked a real threat going forward and came extremely close to open the scoring after being played in by Michail Antonio, only for his shot to be stopped by Vincente Guaita.
But, his work-rate in the second-half was as impressive where West Ham had to absorb a wave of Palace attack.
Fredericks did well in handling the dangerous Wilfried Zaha and Patrick van Aanholt, despite the former scoring the equalising goal.
Nonetheless, the past two matches have been a real test of Frederick’s ability as a modern-day right-back and he certainly passed that test with flying colours, which should excite Pellegrini.
If he continues to grow in confidence and keeps on delivering performances like that then Fredericks will play a huge role in how West Ham’s season concludes.
