Turkish side Trabzonspor have made an official offer for Crystal Palace defender Cheikhou Kouyate, according to sports presenter Yagiz Sabuncuoglu.
And a number of Eagles supporters have been reacting to the news on social media.
Kouyate, who has been with Palace since 2018, still has 12 months left on his Selhurst Park deal.
He made 35 Premier League starts last season, establishing himself as a regular under Roy Hodgson.
The Senegal international has now made over 100 appearances for Palace and is capable of offering new manager Patrick Vieira an option in a holding midfield role as well as at centre-back.
Sabuncuoglu, who has over 450,000 followers on Twitter, posted the exit rumour online on Friday evening. He didn’t say how much a bid was worth, however, it certainly had a number of Palace fans talking.
Palace fans react
@cpfc_xtra shared Sabuncuoglu’s tweet, which led to these Eagles fans sharing their frustration at the links, possibly due to his experience and versatility in the Palace squad.
