da imperador bet： According to Sky Sports, Aston Villa want to sign midfielder Romaine Sawyers and reunite him with Dean Smith in the Midlands, and Villa fans have been quick to react to the story on Twitter.
Sky Sports report that the 47-year-old, who has been without Jack Grealish because of injury in recent weeks, is keen to work with the Bees man for the third time during his managerial career, having also taken him to Griffin Park from Walsall in 2016.
The Saint Kitts and Nevis international often shone under Smith in a role behind the striker, but he has been used in a deeper position in the Brentford midfield in recent months, meaning his threat in the final third for the Championship strugglers has decreased.
Aston Villa supporters have taken to social media to give their thoughts on the rumour, and while one said they “seriously do not want Sawyers”, another described him as “very similar to McGinn in terms of an engine”.
